Apply for a Small Grant to Support Your Artistic Dream

Offers small grants up to $1,500 USD

Program is intended for residents of New Orleans, Louisiana

Priority will be given to artists in the making

Up to 3 Grants will be awarded monthly

  HOW THIS WORKS

​

• Fill out the form below.  Please be thorough as an incomplete form cannot be processed. 

• Submit by the last day of each month to be considered in the next months grant review cycle.

• You must provide your legal name, cell phone and email address.  Also provide your nickname, if you have one.

• Describe your ask for artistic support.   Please be specific with items requested, brands desired if that matters,  and each item's estimated cost.

• We will review all applications within 4 weeks and provide an update to all applicants via email

• Semi-final candidates may be contacted to interview on a video call so we can ask clarifying questions

• Approved grant recipients will be notified by the end of the month following your submission.

• Funding will be used to purchase requested items on your behalf and shipped to an address you provide

• Funding will not directly be provided to approved applicants​​​​​

If you are approved for a grant:

​

• Purchase/Shipping of Items Approved --- The  program founder will contact you directly to arrange purchase of your requested art supplies, and arrange for shipping to a location of your choosing

​

• Recipient Stories -- You will be asked to agree to be contacted for a follow-up in about 3  months to check in on how you are doing with your art.  We hope you will be willing to share your artistic journey on Pepper's MoonBeams social media so it can inspire others.  If your anonymity is important, your name/photo will be masked to protect your privacy.  To see examples of other stories, check here
